Recognition of the Excellence of Sandringham College's Vocational Education & Training Programs and the Students Undertaking Them

The numbers of students who have attained TAFE certificates as well as their VCE or VCAL has always been a very high proportion of the students attending our senior campus, and so successful have our students been in this field, that the college is once again a finalist in the 2014 Victorian Training Awards.

Sandringham College won the Victorian "VETis in Schools Delivery" award in 2014.

Minister for Training and Skills Steve Herbert announced the finalists in this year’s Victorian Training Awards. The awards recognise the achievements of students, trainees and apprentices and the teachers, schools and businesses who provide their training.
Sandringham College is proud to announce that we have successfully been nominated as a finalist for the diversity of school-based training in the VET in Schools Excellence Award.

Awards like these, and programs like VET and VCAL don’t happen in isolation, they are a reflection of the Senior Campus’s ethos and the hard work we all put in to building relationships with students, external providers and each other, working to provide diverse pathways for our range of students and doing what we can to keep students in education and achieving success.
